Suburbs of Dubai to be Turned into New Tourist Areas
The UAE authorities will turn the suburbs of Dubai into new tourist areas.
The Khaleej Times reports that the UAE authorities are planning to turn some of the rural suburbs of Dubai into cultural, tourist and ecological zones.
Plans are underway to develop areas such as Al Faqa, Al Lusayli, Al Habab, Al Marmum, Al Awir and Margham. This was stated by the Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
According to him, the main goal of the new Dubai neighborhood beautification project is to create new economic opportunities for residents of these areas.
