As a result of the meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, a Joint Declaration was signed on deepening the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the agricultural sector was signed. The document was signed by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko and the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov.

It is noted that the Memorandum will contribute to the development of cooperation in the cultivation of crops and food security, mutual legal assistance in the field of land relations, the efficient use of agricultural land, investment in projects for the processing of agricultural raw materials, trade in fertilizers, etc.

The parties also signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre and the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.

Memorandums were signed on issues of cooperation in bilateral trade; on cooperation in the field of food safety; on cooperation in the energy sector.

The meeting took place in Kyiv on January 14.
